We really need data on how that first major Nikkei bottom in 1992 "felt". I still believe we haven't seen anywhere near the kind of capitulation necessary to produce that lasting a bottom. I think the "Fed is out of ammo" recognition will produce that low, however, and establish prices at which the multi-year fund liquidations can begin.
