"I am not suggesting that anybody should accept my comments as anything other than comments coming out of my own life experience and investigation"

Fairly put. I believe your life experiences have led you to pronounced inconsistencies and biases, but of course I would not claim that any of us are free from such.

I give you credit for not asserting that the extraordinary magic you've cited enjoys any credibility from the scientific community, or that any such "demonstrations" have ever been performed to the satisfaction of objective observers.

As to your fascination with Adi Da and your apparent belief in his supranormalcy...do you think it possible that he is overwhelming his followers by the strength of his huge ego? Is it possible that his followers are of the psychological type that some depth of certainty is necessary to avoid the suffering of anomie?

If God is everything and everywhere, then what is all the searching about? Just poach a couple of eggs, grab some toast and play a game of tennis.
