Assuming (and assuming mightily) that we remain the masters of our environment, here we have the showcase example of the head-on collision between the stereotype Sierra Clubber and Visionary Engineer ideologies. What do you want the future to look like: a garden or a tract of wilderness? Think on it; the time spent between the present and that future realized depends on that answer, and a consensus on how to get there.
