The significant information from the forbes report is that the holiday season was a complete disaster. They didn't even bother to hire part timers or temp workers so there was nobody to lay off. The "seasonally adjusted" figures just reflect the fact that the unemployed didn't even get a part time holiday job this year, they got nothin! TP
