what do you think of Kerry, we don't know him out here but he seems to be the frontrunner... lieberman up there too. A Kerry/Lieberman ticket would really be tough to beat imo UNLESS this economy really catches fire and Powell takes over as spokesman for the US. I like Lieberman and his polices, I hate to say it but I don't think the US is ready for a jewish president with ties to israel in this climate of fear. If not for 911 no problem but now... I think its a bit of an issue. California went Gore last time but they didn't really favor one candidate over the other here. In 92 otoh, at least the tech leadership got so behind Clinton they threw money at the guy like water. I think thats going to happen again, same reasons. Kerry will have strong backers from business I predict. Unless, the world calms down and mkts/jobs recover... but really it looks unlikely right now. Lizzie
