Like I've written before, Len. What the US is doing in order to build its Coalition of the [K}Willing is on a par level with a rich developer coming into smalltown America and buying off the board of selectmen, the planning board and the zoning board of appeals. Turkey's gotten a nice four billion; Jordan a squadron of fighter jets and, for sure, certain of those small Arab monarchies are also getting greased.

Indeed, this is a very sad time period of time for America--in my opinion, one of its worst ever. I'm still waiting for an established American media source to report the news that's plastered all over Britain's print and televised media: that Colin Powell used plagerized information to justify his report to the UN--which really wan't a report to the UN but rather an attempt to fire up the American public behind Bush. Lies, distortions and more lies and distortions = Bush Administration.
