Here is where you are wrong. Gore technically received more votes, but that is meaningless because the election was run under the EC. Do you understand this? Please take off your political glasses and say yes. <g> Had the election been run as a popular election, maybe GWB would have won by a whole percentage point. Or maybe Gore would have. They would have campaigned COMPLETELY DIFFERENTLY. We'll never know, because the election was done with the EC, and GWB became president by the will of the people. :-) I'm done with this topic.
