Sorry, I don't see it that way........IMO you're breaking things down too much into the state levels.......what should count is the popular vote nationwide.


We disagree, but that's okay. Either way would work, each with their pluses and minuses.

Here is where you are wrong. Gore technically received more votes, but that is meaningless because the election was run under the EC. Do you understand this? Please take off your political glasses and say yes. <g>

Had the election been run as a popular election, maybe GWB would have won by a whole percentage point. Or maybe Gore would have. They would have campaigned COMPLETELY DIFFERENTLY. We'll never know, because the election was done with the EC, and GWB became president by the will of the people. :-)
