In other words, what the US did in Iran -- the CIA's overthrow of Mossadegh, an advocate of nationalization of Iranian oil assets, by the way, in 1953 and the installation of the Shah, that great democrat -- is a more appropriate analogy to the current fiasco than France or Japan. M2
