Patrick, Sorry about the name mix-up. I remember you as Patrick from
Atlanta and Bradenton, but for some reason I thought you were the
same guys. I am on Sprynet which is also unlimited time for $19.95.
I tried to use ATT, but I could never get connected and their customer
service people concluded that it was my modem. -G- The fact that I
seem to be able to connect the Net with Sprynet, GNN (free trial,
soon to be deep-sixed), Prodigy, AOL, and Compuserve didn't impress
them. It was my modem. I still use Prodigy for four reasons. I like
the Quote Track and Quote Check features and haven't found any other
source where I can follow so many names with current news noted. Then
I also like Company News and Business Wire, and again haven't seen
any other source where I get so much info for so low a price. I
enjoy the bbs and there are more topics where you can get an argument
there than there are on the Internet, at least so far. Also, I
think the organization of their bbs is the best. Fourth, I don't like
to have one provider as I occasionally have trouble connecting with
one service or the other. Whoops, maybe it is MY modem's fault. -G-
