U.S. Issues Scientific-Atlanta Subpoena Scientific-Atlanta Inc., Lawrenceville, Ga., said it has received a subpoena from the U.S. Justice Department to produce documents in connection with the company's marketing-support agreement with cable-system operator Charter Communications Inc. Scientific-Atlanta, which makes networking equipment, reported the information in a quarterly report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission and said it is cooperating with the investigation. The filing provided no further information. Sales to Charter Communications made up 14% of Scientific-Atlanta's product sales in fiscal 2002 and 20% in fiscal 2001. --Dow Jones Newswires Updated February 7, 2003 5:21 p.m. EST
