I like Jude, but I disagree with him on this count. I haven't studies the affair too closely, but I believe that the Iran story was a White House fabrication designed to cover for their buddy Saddam. Regardless, we'll hear much more about the Iran angle in a year or two, when Iran becomes Official Enemy Number One.
