Let me remind you of one that came to power and caused the death of 56,000,000 people with a help of folks just like yourself - Hitler. Under the Versailles Treaty Germany was allowed to have only limited military forces and yet the world chose to ignore Hitler's violations and I am sure that if it would be early 30's you would be singing for the fuhrer.

And before you start pushing the usual 'Iraq is no Germany' consider that
1) Germany was not considered a powerful nation at the time
2) it is not a conventional war threat that we are talking about here
