Dave, Tanglewood rings several bells. I live in an area right now that is called Tanglewood in Houston. There is also a nice apartment building with that name in Hayward, which I assume is the one you mean. And there is also a beautiful area of Massachussetts where they spoil the ambience by letting the Boston Popoffs create their noise pollution in the summer. But great tennis courts. Assuming you mean Hayward, you have to have heard of one of your more famous prior history neighbors. Sacheen Littlefeather lived there in the 1960s while struggling to get acting and modeling jobs. She won the Miss Dracula Contest and got a role on a soap called "Dark Shadows." But she is best remembered for refusing the Oscar for Marlon Brando and lecturing everyone on Native American Rights at the ceremony. So, very tenuous connection with a semi celebrity. -G-If they are still talking about me at The Carlos Bee Dorm, those are some old Coeds. I graduated in 1972. -G- But if they have chubby redheaded children about 25 years of age or so, don't give them my E-Mail address. -G- MB PS, I think the guy who played Radar on Mash also lived at Tanglewood while he went to college, but he's even older than I am, so I couldn't guarantee that one.
