Hi babe'
MXR spent the better part of the year, doing DD on the Chilean property, meetings with Fire executives and Npec executives, etc. They really liked the property and believed in the potential, but had some terrible luck arranging financing - post bre-x and all.
Enough said with that. Currently though, they are working on a property deal that could quite easily put the chilean property to shame. The property is closer, has great targets, is surrounded by three million plus ounce deposits, and is the reason for this recent accumulation taking place. Negotiations are ongoing, and look positive for both parties involved. If this deal can be hammered out, it will make us, the shareholder's, a very handsome profit.
Management with this company is committed to finding viable mineral land holdings, with high probabilities of localized mineralization. In other words, they have had many land offers, and pursued several leeds, but they will not take untested land just for the sake of having holdings.
