I think the Germans, and I know the French, are desperate to keep us out of Iraq. They don't want Saddam's files opened up.

I don't think that's a concern in Germany. The list of US companies having supplied Iraq is nearly as long as the German one. Don't forget: we are a couple of thousand km closer, and from Europe there's an ocean less to travel to Baghdad than from the USA.
