I just got some clarification from Mr Hung on the car situation. They are not destroying all cars over 20 years old, I misunderstood him. He was saying that it might as well be destroyed because they will not be allowed to be used to carry paying passengers if they are over 20 years old. So he can keep the car as a private vehicle, but of course he couldn't afford to drive it. An upper middle class family can afford a moped as a private vehicle.. I have asked him to check out what a 17 or 18 year old vehicle would cost, to buy some time and keep him in business. Next week they will be completing the holding tank at the leper village (Di Linh). There will be a pump inside of this tank that will then charge the whole water system to the main village buildings..school, hospital, etc.. scott
