I don't know what these terms mean -- you were serious for a half a second, so here goes ...

cyclical bull or secular bull in gold?

Are we seeing a fundamental shift or a temporary flock to safety??

I'll tell you that I am a bit "agnostic" at this point, but leaning more towards the secular bull -- fundamental shift camp -- partly based on economics and partly based on geopolitical climate.

I think the fool bugs may be right for all the wrong reasons and that they won't enjoy the "victory" if it happens. I'm pretty darn pessimistic on "externals," but still very hopeful that this will turn out for more freedom and understanding in the long run.

Now think of something witty, that takes more than one line. <g>
