I agree. I have no problem with the personal enlightenment aspect of any religion, or with the transcendent feelings some people get from religion (or the "air" as you put it)- and I don't care which religion they get those feelings from. My only problem is with the group activities; the impulse to control government; the impulse to project religions morality into the arena that I feel should be composed of a secular morality based on utilitarian principles.
