<< Too many people will die or otherwise ruin their lives. >>

Without available drugs, they'd be sniffing glue. With legalized, cheap drugs, we'd have similar social problems, but the evil, powerful, drug kingdoms would lose their source of revenue.

If we continue this foolish war on drugs, we will lose the big war, which is for peace and democracy in the world. If we lose the big war, we will certainly also lose the war on drugs.

The war on drugs is a lose-lose proposition. It is a huge waste, and can't be won.

People, since the beginning of time, NEEDED feel good drugs. They NEED them. They can't do without them. It is as essential to many people as air. We will NEVER succeed in stopping that God given demand for drugs.

So...... we need to make the best out of a bad situation. Legalize drugs, and take the profit away from the evil drug industry.
