Doug, you said you are not a raging bull for DELL, but you
sure sound like one :)) If your prediction is true, DELL will
grow to the sky! All you Dell bulls have not convinced
me that Dell is indeed the Microsoft of the PC makers.
In the past few years, Compaq and other big guys have
been ignoring the importance of low cost provided by
direct distribution. Now everyone is waking up. Expect
a nasty price war 3-6 months from now that bring everyone's
profit margin down. As far as image is concerned, I think
Compaq and IBM are still in the mind of corporate IS if they
sell cheaper than or same as Dell. Again, IMHO.

But I am not raging bear for DELL either. The correction
is just profit taking by the institutions scaling down
their portfolios (look at the volumes these couple of days).
But I don't expect a downfall of Dell like MU, especially
after Abelson of Barrons used the same analogy as I did.
I always find Abelson as a good contrarian signal...

That said I still maintained my Dell top as $85-90, allowing
a possible retest above 85 in the near term (in expectation
of Dell's 2nd qrt number be extremely good?)

regards, Keith
