INDIVIDUAL INVESTOR GROUP (INDI)

HERE IS THE TIP OF THE MONTH!

Friday July 25, 1997 Closed at 8 - LOOK FOR A BIG MOVE TO $12 THE WEEK OF AUGUST 12, AND $16 BY YEAR END!

The stock is slowly climbing and volume is picking up. I believe that INDI made a profit in Money Management this quarter which will lead to a surprisingly good earnings report on August 12.

MOST importantly, I am convinced that they will be successful in selling a minority interest in their publishing business and I think that they will announce the retention of an Investment Banker at their next quarterly earnings report (AUGUST 12)

I recently phoned the company and they confirmed that they had selected the Investment Bank and were now negotiating a fee structure. They also confirmed (during last quarters conference call) that they have had discussions with a "large media player." THEY SUBSEQUENTLY HAVE CONFIRMED THAT THEY ARE PROGRESSING WITH THIS INITIATIVE AS EXPECTED.

A SUCESSFUL SALE PLACING THE VALUE OF THE PUBLISHING BUSINESS AT $100mm DIVIDED BY 6.1MM SHARES OUTSTANDING WOULD PLACE INDI'S VALUE AT $16/SHARE.

DISCLAIMER:
Deals can always fail, but I am totally convinced that discussions are currently taking place.
