china isn't only absorbing manufacturing jobs, it is absorbing tech jobs. CSCO's pointless lawsuit againt Wei is just the beginning. i take that back: $40 dvd players were the beginning, CSCO's lawsuit is the beginning of the end. the disparity in wages between americans and the rest of the planet will* shrink dramatically, even in tech. it is absolutely inevitable. nature abhors gross imbalances. everyone can decide for themselves whether it is easier to raise income for 5 billion people or lower it for 300 million people... note: i say this without any rancor or ethnic-bashing intent. the world is what it is and i'm grateful i've had it as good as it's been.
