Saddam and Hitler are not the same phenomenon at all. Saddam is just as evil but HItler managed to sell his policies to his people. Hitler's people supported him and believed in what the fought for. Saddam's people have not been ruled by brainwashing, but purely by threats. They will turn on him in an instant, given a chance.
