That painting would bring forth a vivid picture and emotional impact on the aftermath of a war and specifically relevant to this one. The destruction will be in or near large urban centers not in sparsely populated the desert or mountainous terrain. Painting would detract attention from the purpose and meaning of the presentation. It should be replaced because it is irrelevant and contrary to the meeting's agenda.

There should be a call to remove the painting permanently. It does not reflect mankind's aspiration for the 21st century and beyond. The painting should be replaced with a picture of a large USA flag surrounded by five smaller flags of China, France, Russia, and England. Better yet, instead of flags, the new painting should show the photos of the leaders of these countries, to reflect the dynamics in the ideals and purpose of the United Nations. The size of the photos should vary according to the comparative GDPs of the nations.
