You invited me over here to your thread to argue in a less restrained environment than the FADG and now you won't even give me any decent competition. Read my post carefully, I said, "He was commander of a US Army post during the Mexican War...". If you will check your timeline of American history, you will find the Mexican War predating the Civil War. Besides, that story is most likely apocryphal, which is a shame since it should have happened. <g> As for you sharing any other of Bragg's characteristics, I don't see it. Just the adversarial aspect. Maybe you're right.. NOW we're getting somewhere. <g>
