saddam may be many things, but he is not a fool. fools do not stay in power as long as he had. and if he had taken out saudi arabia, so what? look what the saudis did to NYC, who knows, maybe the blowback for restoring the tyrants in kuwait was 9-11. don't forget, this guy was an ally...until we decided he wasn't. he didn't screw us, we screwed him. the nightmare with saddam didn't start when we stopped halfway to bagdad, it started when bushOne allowed thatcher to talk him into a pointless war against the only real lever we had in the persian gulf. imo thatcher really suckered bushOne and we're still paying for that folly. live and let live well you're on the right board then, lol, ain't too much "live and let live" here. -g-
