"Surely America could develop a "happy" pill that would keep people happy all day long" I think this statement shows your naivity regarding drugs. And it is a dangerous way of thinking imo. If you have kids, I hope you are not teaching them that taking drugs is the key to happiness. If you are, you are wrong, and should be jailed.
