Interesting suppositions.

I submit:
Best case North Korea is an overthrow from within and re-unification. A financial burden on the south no doubt but I'm sure some interested parties could be induced to pony up some aid. It wouldn't be like they were pouring it down some black hole.

Worst case Iraq is an overthrow from within by fundamentalists. This is precisely something the US wants to prevent. With Iran now slightly moderating it would be bad news all around. Could Arabia be far behind in that case ? Think not.

Second worst case Iraq: US goes it alone and takes over the oil fields. I'd bet on renewed heavy terrorist backlash. I'm afraid this one's in the cards.

Best case for Iraq is a UN led invasion and occupation until the rest of the region is stabilized. Didn't say good, just best.

I don't feel many are facing the realities. Which are not
really good whatever decision is made.
--- I agree.

Win-Lose-Draw, just noticed the thread. Good luck.

EDIT in keeping with the thread's topic.
Secular gold bull has started. Down to about 15% PM by portfolio weight. Expecting a crap in your drawers (is that ok to say :o) correction to reload back to 40-50%. Also like NG weighted CanRoys (have a lot) going forward and some base metal plays (have a bit) to take advantage of China.
