For the last time and before my next beaker, I liked Valadero. I predicted the price, the takeout price was going to be $4 per Argentina share. I shorted it and lost money. It dropped back to $2.25 or so and I bought it. It rose and I sold it made money and shorted it and lost money. Shit, why do I have to apologize for providing liquidity for smarter people? It is true that the deposit appears to be much larger than I believed. It still is not in production, however, which was another of my predictions. Short course is that it was a beautiful piece of geological work and I shouldn't have been trying to predict the outcome, given that I knew that Homestake was a stupid and desperate company. At any rate I have repented. I no longer, at least in this part of the cycle, seek the overvalued but focus on the undervalued. There are only two that stand out as exceptional.
