ohmygosh- i just stumbled onto HG's "you don't cry" thread. you guys are a riot. Subject 53125 and you sold the tonka!! holy cow. how come you didn't tell me? i've got some fond memories about that truck. first one is when you and kath picked us up in Guaymas. the bus was 3 hours late, kath was well on her way to partysville and i thought it was only about 5 minutes to san carlos and was ready to jump in the back. but no, the four of us squeezed in the front - somehow. and then, the time i mentioned before when we stumbled out of the bowling ally and you decided it was a good time to fix the wiper blades. i think harold rode in the back that time. and then when you lent us tonka so we could go to breakfast. harold asked, is there anything i should know about this truck? you said - no. god, for the next half hour all i could hear was harold muttering under is breath about how you said there was nothing he needed to know all the while trying to coax the old girl into gear. and the final thing of course was new year's eve when she served as the tailgate bar at the beach party. that's about it - can't think of another darn memory. thank you tonka for the memories. g'nite. rose
