****Quotes from the "palestinian" national charter: Article 1: "palestine" [Israel] is the "homeland" of the arab "palestinian" people; it is an indivisible part of the arab "homeland," and the "palestinian" people are an integral part of the arab nation.
Article 2: "palestine," [Israel] with the boundaries it had during the British mandate [which originally included jordan], is an indivisible territorial unit.
Article 9: Armed struggle is the only way to "liberate palestine" [liquidate Israel]. This is the overall strategy, not merely a tactical phase...
Article 10: commando [terrorist] action constitutes the nucleus of the "palestinian" popular "[liquidation]" war.

oh this just came in....6:20AM BP seeks to create Russian and global oil major (UK:BP) by Julian Halliburton BP (UK:BP) has stepped up discussions with the owners of the Russian companies TNK and Sidanco over a fresh investment of up to $4.5bn in a restructuring deal which could create one of the country's largest oil groups. Senior executives of the companies held meetings in London last week about plans including rolling Sidanco, in which BP holds a 25 per cent stake, into TNK, with BP retaining or increasing its stake in the combined entity. Such a deal would be in line with long-standing indications from both BP and Alfa, joint owner of TNK, that it makes sense to combine TNK and Sidanco. In mid-morning London trading, shares in BP were up 0.5 per cent at 381p. |
