The only conclusion that I have come to about the market's reaction to the war in Iraq is that there should be a major reaction one way or another. I suspect that taking the opposite side of that move will be profitable. So I am looking at the timing of the war as I may want to be in cash to take advantage of the reaction move, and more importantly, so that I don't get wiped out by another October like move.

Alternately, I may look into an options straddle.
