I have never heard that argument before, and I would completely disagree. It is the mother (and father)that "welcomed" that baby into her body by having unprotected intercourse. (please, no side arguments about rape right now).

I believe that once that decision was made, you really do have to consider the rights of the child.

Lizzie, I know we will never agree on this. That's okay.

I do wish we would take the government out of it, stop forcing me to pay for abortions through my tax dollars.
I would also be very happy with a ban on partial birth abortion. That name should be really changed to infanticide.

I did read once, the only way to "solve" the abortion issue is to make it, over time, a social taboo. It would take generations to accomplish.
