Fred, I saved the political literature of that period. In fact, I've even got literature on how to build a fall-out shelter, or how to get under your desk in case of nuclear attack.

Indeed, protecting nuke plants from terrorism was one of the primary issues in the whole argument against the nuclear plant building frenzy of decades past. Of course, we were calling for recyling way back then too. But that didn't happen until Republicans figured they could make money from doing it. So it goes!
