Well...let's see...

1) Everyone is fretting over war with Iraq.
2) The economy is in a stupor.
3) Technology looks like it will NEVER come back.
4) Pundits are worrying about a deflationary spiral.
5) Pundits are worried that the market still looks grossly overvalued.
6) Pundits are worried about a real-estate bubble.
7) Pundits are worried about a debt crisis.
8) Wall street is mired in scandal.
9) There have been quite a few spectacular corporate flame-outs (such as Enron).

And that means I want to go LONG U.S. stocks!!!! :D

I picked up EMC, AMAT, ET, AMTD, PVN and the riskier LU, LOR, CNXT, SWKS. I will be mentioning a few more in the upcoming months.

It won't be as much fun because I am in the process of covering my short positions and I really won't be committing any money to the short side in the forseeable future. That doesn't mean that I won't constantly be annoying the likes of Dixon, Mike M(oron) and Don Wolanshmuck of course. Stay tuned!
