Worst source possible (you wouldn't believe it if I told you, but I do at the bottom), but here's a bit of info from the NY meeting. Points: - Company is real, not a fraud. - ~150 people attended - Chikaduk, not analyzed yet, but could hold 3 billion more barrels. - Have been approached by one "household name". - Planning on signing more than one partner. - Taking time on negotiations (sounds smart to me). - Meeting was 1 1/2 hours - Overall impression: very good validation for company. - No specific announcements, was mainly "answering questions". - Attendee guesses 1/4 to 3/8 point rise tomorrow. - Attendee spoke with Faris (CEO) and got a "NO DOUBT" feeling that they were genuinely thrilled with what they had. - Planning on talking with major players next week or two. Source: (don't laugh to loud). An attendee of meeting typing on AOL chatline "AIPN" being re-typed onto the IRC/Undernet channel #aipn and then summarized and typed again by me above. Cheers! Kyle..
