Rather than get all worked up about this, we have to wait until the trial of the actual bombers. Maybe Reyat's sentence is reasonable if he was not directly involved. I don't know the details (and neither does anyone in the public at large), but I do know the prime suspects in the bombing are not yet at trial.

The media are presenting the story as if Reyat was the guy that put the bomb on the plane. The court obviously decided he wasn't, but the media don't mention that.
I am more interested in seeing what the system does with the main culprits.
