ie: the MYTH of Earnings Impact in Cyclicals HL announced pre-open today - what would have to be acknowledged as outstanding results and earnings. Now - let's see what Mr. Market does with Hecla shares ? ...go back to mid-late 1998 and look at Oilpatch Co. TransOcean Offshore (RIG)...thier earnings tripled/quadrupled over 3-4 consecutive qtrs as their shares imploded to 1/4th of what they were when the earnings ramp started. How fundamental is buy the rumor - sell the news ? tic-toc`
