Mornin, Rosebud...how dew you dew this sunny morn?
It was fun, a very interesting group. You would have loved them all. It was meditation group that gets together every Monday evening, and then they have retreats, etc...
They were very enthusiastic and receptive about the well projects. They are going to interview me and write up an article for their quarterly newspaper. They are going to bring the project to the attention of Thich Naht Hanh, who is very well connected. They are also talking of doing some sort of fund raiser. Well see, looks good though. I think they are going to invite me to present to a much larger group at a retreat in April, Thich's assistant will be there.
And yesterday, a friend proposed holding a big charitable event at their home on Bainbridge Island. An all day BBQ and Pickleball Tournament, Fund raiser for The Care to Help Project. She has worked in fund raising for years, so she would get a lot of good people to the event.
I have a buddy in DC that does a lot of work with Asian companies, he is going to try to get an automaker to donate a car or van.
Lots of good stuff taking shape.
