I really like your poem, jp!!! The way I read it, it is about the earth, and environmentalism versus short-sighted exploitation of the earth, and greed. Am I at all close here? One of the things I like about poetry is that the words can be so beautiful and mysterious that what it means can be many things.

I really wasn't trying to pull you out into the harsh bright lights of SI about stuff you don't want to talk about. You leave so many sweet little clues about parts of you, and I think maybe some things you are comfortable with, and some you are not. When I don't want to keep going out here, revealing something--and it can be overwhelming and like your privacy gets lost--I just don't respond to something. It is hard being cyber--you can't just smile and shrug or look away uncomfortably, and no one can read your body language. I am open to getting emails from people if they want to do that.
