I think most people understand by now that the Year 2000 thing has "impact". They should also know that the days when you can back-of-the-envelope this thing to convince yourself of the BILLIONS your favourite stock is going to make are rapidly coming to an end.

There are forty other Year 2000 threads. Every time the cult members get scared they start a new thread or rename an old one. Fact is ZITL "earnings" come out tomorrow and they won't be pretty.

I like how the Viasoft thread went from "Viasoft is a great stock, but what about the company?" to "Viasoft and the Y2K problem."

Spin, spin, spin, promote, promote, promote...

Now let's check those revenues and P/E's again. After all this is an investing forum.
