APC for FREE
I'm not sure who paid for the APC rebates. I called APC at the time and the sales guy was not event sure of the model. It might have been a promo or something they were working on with APC and CompUSA. The specs looked like the ones sold as "Network"- $25,000 protection. I think the APC guy ran out to CompUSA after his shift ended since he said he cold not even buy that kind of unit for $30 with his employee discount.

Anyway, APC still got some of my money because just 1 month earlier I had bought a similiar unit for $39.95. So I put the new ones on my TV, Stereo, etc.

CompUSA said often less than 30% of rebates get filled.

Anyway, this was last year so it's water over the earnings bridge.
