Actually, I think we are seeing what the play will be: a PC investigation. In other words, a very lengthy list of possible causes, with page after page of ANALysis.

Process: After we examine all possibilities, we can make a conclusion, until then we examine all possibilities. And there are always new possibilities. Always.

In the mean time the Shuttle sits and rots, essentially held hostage to the process. The Chinese get their guy in orbit, the North Koreans launch a few missiles over Tokyo, then the Prez has to kick ass to get the program going again, over the objections of the hand wringing perfectionists, who by then have made a career of the mess.

Watch it happen.
