"Abortion is a mortal sin." So is greed, gluttony and pride--sins common to many Republicans. I've been a Republican all my voting life so I take liberties in criticizing my own. What do you think about killing the sperm and egg by intellectual birth control--the rhythm method used by Catholics? What's the difference of using your mind to create a chemical that kills or interferes with the sperm or egg, or the rhythm method that uses your intellect to plot the biological progress of sperm and egg to assure they never meet? The end is the same in both cases--man using the intellect to interfere with God's natural order.
