I totally agree. Middle East is the most important strategic area, especially to the industrialized countries. In fact, in my post (#3716) I expressed a similar opinion.
However, I'm not an expert in oil industry, and may not be able to have a good understanding of the technical terms in those links. If you could briefly summarize the oil situation and post it for the readers here, I would appreciate it. And how do you think the developments of the technologies in other energy sources like sun light, wind, nuclear, electric power etc.? With your view on Bushies motive for the Iraq war would certainly help, too.
