Bill Walsh was one of the greatest coaches in NFL history and I give him my respect for that. However, there comes a time in everyones life where they outlast their own effectiveness. Such is the case with Bill Walsh - Your boy lucked out today and got himself a pretty good coach. That does nothing to change my mind where Mariucci is concerned - The 9ers f*cked up IMO and for no need IMO. The niners will be 9-7 at best next year. The Packers may be worse than that but it wont be ego driven stupidity that puts them in that spot
