Look at how many times Trent Lott apologized. Do you think people believe Lott's apology
was sincere? I don't.

They say Gail Norton felt badly because 17 miles of the Colorado river were killed by pollution
when she was in office there. I believe she was the AG. Of course, she would feel sad.
Does anyone believe she would laugh? Yet, the death of that river hasn't changed her
policies in the Bush administration as far as I can tell. The Interior Dept., Norton's dept., is filled with
industry lobbyists who want to destroy environmental legislation in the name of their god, the god
with the pot of gold who sits at the end of the rainbow so these greedy folks from industry
will try to let industry set its own rules for the enforcement of environmental regulations.
Actually, I don't think they'll have many rules. They are destructive people. They are
not interested in protecting people's health. And they don't seem to give a hoot about
keeping America beautiful.

Bush, Cheney, Rummy, Norton and Condi Rice, aka Ms. Oil Tanker, are business people.
They were in business to make money. Now, that they control the government, they
can make sure that their business friends and big corporate donors make money. In the
future, after they leave office, they'll probably make a bundle as well.
