DHA on the TV news... Minutes ago there was a short item (of the "taken off the video news wire" variety) on the local (Indy) Fox network local nightly news re. "Formula Wars". About this stuff called DHA that's in breast milk, & is used in formulas in Europe.. but not here in the good ol' USA if you can imagine that. No mention of Martek or other scientific data. YES! YES! YES! Just wai 'til it hits the US market, & mothers get to choose after hearing Katie Curac, Kathie Lee, et al say, "I wish I'd known that when I had my baby!". Me? I'm not worried... I'm sitting here, typing with one hand while holding our 6-day old, sleeping, nearly-ready-for-another-breast-feeding-from-mom, perfect, first baby, Lucinda. Haven't asked the pediatrician about DHA, but a lactation expert at the hospital found it interesting.
