>I got a room for 4 shares of ENER, while it would have cost me 10 shares to stay at the Amerisuites.<
This peasant got lucky -- a good package deal for airline/hotel/auto was quite a bit cheaper than purchasing those individual items with Red Roof Inn as the hotel choice. And, the Red Roof Inn did not have a package deal.
Your valuing of things in terms of shares of ENER reminds me of my destitute college days -- evaluating things in terms of 6-packs. Re ENER, I think you may possibly have saved $6,000 -- if you have the patience of Job.
Mountain Jack's, at least, will be making a profit off of Stan and Company. I'm supposed to meet there with a few friends, and I'm sure you will be most welcome to join us. I don't know the time yet, but I expect people will probably drift into the bar early to begin chatting. I expect to be there by 6 PM, maybe earlier, but it depends on the airline and the weather.
I'm not sure how we will recognize each other -- would you mind wearing one red shoe? I'm, tall, grey-haired and bearded, and wear glasses with thin black rims. And, I'll probably be wearing a dark suite -- possibly a once-a-year-event. |
