General question:

Does anyone think if the USA pulled out of EVERY country we 'should not' be in, that the terrorist threat against the USA would disappear ?

Would anything change if Hussein and Bin Laden were both killed ?

Do I want a war ? No.

Will a war solve anything ? In this case, NO.

Is this particular situation about oil ? I doubt it very much.

My personal feeling is this situation is about a lot of countries the USA has ties to, situations we have our fingers in, be it Kuwait, Lebanon, Palestine, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, and all the other ones I have not named, we are now dealing with folks that are our age, that have grown up watching the USA be 'into' everything, and they are tired of it, and now they are old enough to band together and SHOW that they are 'sick and tired of it, and not going to take it anymore'. I think a lot of these folks are going to stop fighting each other and band together and attack the USA, any way they can.

I think this situation is about POWER, and who can do what, and who can stop it. It's almost a game. It's sad, and it scares the hell out of me.
